What we do

Six services. One custody standard.

Every consignment is sealed at collection, signed at each handover and released against verified identity. What changes between services is the handling around that spine.

How it works

Four stages. Every one leaves a document.

Custody is the product. What you see when you track a reference is simply the paperwork each stage generates.

STAGE 01

Survey & quote

We assess the item, the route and the risk, then issue a written quote stating the handling plan and the insured value.

STAGE 02

Sealed collection

Two crew attend. The item is inspected, photographed, sealed with a numbered tamper-evident seal and logged to your reference.

STAGE 03

Documented transit

Every handover is signed and timestamped. The seal number travels with the item, so any break in the chain is visible.

STAGE 04

Verified release

Released only to a named recipient against photographic identity. The signed release note closes the record.

Where the risk actually is

Most losses happen on the road.

Loss data reported to industry intelligence systems has consistently attributed the large majority of cargo theft to attacks on vehicles in transit rather than on secure facilities. The exposed part of almost every movement is the leg between the two secure ends — so that is where our controls concentrate.

  • Vetted, background-screened crews on every movement
  • Route planning with no advance disclosure of timings
  • Two-person rule — no single point of custody
  • Secure overnight lodgement, never roadside parking
Who we carry for

Built for cargo with a paper trail.

Most of our work comes from clients whose insurers, auditors or regulators require documented handling — not simply fast delivery.

Bullion & precious metals

Refinery, dealer and vault-to-vault movements with weight and assay verification at each end.

Diamonds & gemstones

Parcel movements between cutting centres, trading floors and grading laboratories.

Jewellery & watches

Retail transfers, trade fairs, repairs, returns and e-commerce fulfilment from vault stock.

Fine art & antiques

Gallery, auction and private collection movements with condition reporting and bespoke crating.

Banks & family offices

Vault consolidation, estate movements and safe-deposit relocation under continuous custody.

Insurers & loss adjusters

Salvage recovery, post-claim asset movement and secure holding pending settlement.

Before you book

The questions we get asked most.

Cover is arranged against the value you declare at quotation and confirmed in writing before collection. A certificate naming the underwriter is issued on request. If the declared value changes before collection, tell us — cover follows the declaration, not the invoice.

From the rate agreed in your storage contract, applied to elapsed time from receipt, less any grace period. Charges are billed in arrears against a numbered invoice. The balance in your portal is invoices issued less payments received — never an estimate.

Only a signatory named on the account, in writing, and only against photographic identity checked at release. We won’t release against an email alone, and we won’t accept a change of recipient by phone. This is deliberately inflexible.

Yes, and we publish the list. Some items need extra paperwork rather than a refusal — lithium batteries, CITES material, cultural property. Others are refused outright, including anything we’re asked not to document accurately. See our restricted items page.

Tell us what needs moving.

Written, itemised quotes with the insured value stated. Same-day response for consignments already in transit.
